Rick Gehman said Lanto Griffin comes in with several positive marks, including a Q-school victory and a T-9 finish at Torrey Pines. However, Gehman highlighted Griffin’s poor around-the-green play as his biggest weakness. Despite losing significant strokes in that category each time he has played at Vidanta Vallarta, Griffin has never missed a cut there. Gehman believes that if Griffin can simply avoid being a liability around the greens, his solid ball-striking should yield strong DFS returns.
